This week we will begin promoting the Live-stream of the Respect My Vote! Celebrity PSA and Photo Shoot in Miami over Memorial Day Weekend. We want to direct people tune in and watch the live shoot online and interact with us online.

Our key issue messages this week are on the critical issue of college affordability, and the potential of student loan interest rates to double July 1, if Congress doesn’t act quickly. African American students, and other minority students, already have a disproportionately difficult time affording college, anything that adds to that financial burden, such as a doubling of the student-loan interest rate, would make things even more difficult.
